Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

This company needs to get its priorities straight

The fact that there is a touchless number for months now and that managers get on beat up calls because of it is absolutely absurd. This number does nothing for us. The fact that I get b–ched at because I didn't do something touchless and then my managers take a beating for it is ridiculous. This is a stupid metric that make no body money and all it does is waste everyone's time, and motivation. Great job VZW. Get your priorities straight... If it doesn't make anyone money, what's the point?

Let's hear from HR and their support for this on this forum... Cuz you know it's gonna happen lol

They already know and do not care. They are using retail to train customers for self serve options via my Verizon. This will allow them to transition away from Corp owned stores and further reduce retail employees.

Like RIS the touchless metric is a tool to use against retail.

Any complaint retail has will be turned back with, “but your RIS is at....” or “your touchless percentage is at...”

If you would increase those metrics you would be more successful. Look at single random store in entire company that has high touchless and RIS. See they do it why don’t you?
