Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Are all US Owned VZW Call Centers closed for good?

I’d be interested in knowing what has been done with the buildings of former VZW operated US Call Centers, and if anyone knows of tenants or reusing of facilities that were operating up until Covid came along in March 2020.

Huntsville is now the US Army Corps of Engineers. Are Lincoln and Charleston still vacant?

Verizon doesn't own any property. They lease. Verizon is so broke they sold off their HQ and leased it back.

They were planning on moving everyone to home, even before Covid. Half the centers were already shut down before all of this happened. All they did with the other centers is sell the physical property off to other companies.

Union centers will be back, need for command and control.

No reason to. Verizon can save so much money with people working from home

It’s a work from home now. So I highly doubt we will keep those leases
