Here is the truth. As long as you have enough ppto to cover the entire time you will be out, the system auto approves it and we cannot change it. It will NOT give us the option. Now, make sure you can cover the entire amount. You will get pointed for anything past the time you have. They cannot tell you business needs on ppto. Your personal needs are the reason you have ppto.
Protected PTO can be used to cover any time you loose if you are late, leave early or call off.
Pto is protected yours to use when you need it regardless of business needs. PROTECTED
All managers said something different about protected pto
You need permission before you just up and leave. You can use ppto one you have the ok to leave.
Protected PTO hours only come out if you select either
• Sick/Other
• Family Care
Yes you can use your protected for leaving early and tardies. Documentation is on the wire. It explains everything. You have a certain amount of time to submit your protected time off. Log on to the wire>me>my time off. Should explain everything. You have to submit enough time to cover the hours missed. You can’t submit 4 hours if you were scheduled an 8 hour shift. Has to be exactly what you missed. It’s a good idea not to burn all your protected time off, keep some for serious emergencies.
Hi do we put in the protected pto the same day we leave early or day after ?????
Ppto is to be used for the exact reasons you are saying. Also use it if you have to call out it covers the point or half a point for late/left early
