Just got a corporate email from BB. He says we made our goals at 139% over target. Last year, I checked, we did 154% over target. While AIP's are calculated by a number of metrics, this one is important. This year was 90% of last year's. I figure we get 90% of what we did last year, which isn't bad. Not bad at all.
The AIP program is definitely a good one for us.

My coach said there is a range of personal multiplier for each level of review. Full is 85-105% multiplier. Exceptional is 100%plus. HR financial people get the final say. If your rating is an inconsistent, it’s very possible that you will not be getting a raise and your AIP will be cut down.
AIP not bad. Humana had a pretty good year, except for the 4th quarter. I got a full on my appraisal and a multiplier of over 100. Last year was exceptional got 100. Go figure. Raises below industry average but at least some are getting them, and AIP makes up for the lack of cost of living.

Is AIP calculated based on hourly wage or salary?
Unsure. If you are in inconsistent zone, that's not good. I was Full last year and got 90%, but I was more of a Full minus, like a B minus in school. I imagine most Fulls are 100%. Exceptionals are above that, inconsistents could be in real trouble on AIP. I've never gone Inconsistent so I can't give you a hard number.
