Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Beware of how you time your 2 weeks

Coworker put in their 2 week notice today, was told they would not receive a bonus because it hadn’t “been calculated yet” despite all bonuses being released in approximately 2 weeks from now on 3/5’s paycheck. They’re scamming people out of bonuses mind you we STILL have not heard anything about the final amounts on our paychecks. Beware if you are quitting!!!!

Rookie mistake. Be careful folks. Oh and use all your vacation time before you give notice cause you won’t be able to even touch them after.

Yeah, get the money in your account and THEN, quit with a one week notice. This is employment at will, unless you are exempt, which I don't think you are. The 2-week notice is a courtesy to your boss, rather than the organization. If you have all your stuff in order and can hand it off to a co-worker, you need a few days only.
