Does anyone know anything about the Member Specialist position? What are the job duties? Hourly pay?

I think the Member Specialist is the new SIF associate. Not sure what job is or pay. Does anyone know?
To the person who said they Member Specialists work the door and self checkouts: if you read their job description, that is exactly what they are supposed to be doing and push scan and go. Those three area are PRIMARY. In our club the MSS' use them to run the front end while the MSS' go upstairs or hide. It is not right. They give them a false sense of having authority....they are rude to cashiers and think they are they are MSS'.

The member specialist:
Creates a memorable experience for our members.
Uses exit technology (primary.)
Increases scan and go adoption (primary.)
Enhance self-checkout experience and adoption (primary.)
Be a champion for shrink prevention, price overrides up to $50.00.
Train associates on member team processes.
Provide support to other areas of the member team, when needed.
Communicate membership benefits.
Lift up to 25 lbs, be able to bend, squat and stand for long periods of time.
Preform additional job related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Paraphrased from the audio meeting: Self check, exit door, club pickup, promotes plus, prevent shrink, have your own override numbers, train new cashiers/desk, really sell members on scan n go, sell plus, and anything else you team lead or manager needs done. In fact, it's one step below team members, so when team members are off, you will be expected to step into their shoes and do their job. They expect you to step up and go above and beyond. Preventing shrink and pushing scan n go are two of the biggies.
Pay 16.00 an hour.
In our club the majority are lazy, they stand around doing nothing. Some think they are mini MSS'. Sickening. Only one does what she is supposed to do.
Is that the salaried marketing job? If so you can make up to $10k a month in bonuses
