People stay at their jobs because they are satisfied in some way: payment, atmosphere, benefits, working hours or similar. I haven’t been very happy with anything lately. The company is no longer what it was a few years back and where I loved working.
At the moment things are not great but at least they could show us some respect by being more transparent. However, that is not the case and their secrecy only further raises tensions.

If in fact that is true, and you were told your job is safe...people really better pay attention! That alone is a BS. Management runs things like its the wide wild west...which creates a lot of opportunities for the EEOC to intervene.
My bet is you were told that to keep you motivated, nothing more. Your at risk like the rest of us.
Even though our team was told no one is losing their job in our area, I absolutely feel my head is still on the chopping block, as a tenured employee. I'm super uncomfortable. Maybe they are not getting rid of any sales positions, this does not mean I won't be kicked to the curb, and replaced with a lower paid newbie. IDK? Tension is thick right now. I guess we'll all find out soon. It will not be the first time I've been completely lied to by upper management. 😣
We wait....
I'm actually surprised. Even reps aren't talking. Also it hasnt hit financial news like it normally does either.
Shhhhhhhhh! We don’t want people talking!
A group of nasty people, that do not care about the employees. Corporate greed. We're all disposable.
Pretty sure my DM seldom leaves the house
Because your success, or lack thereof, is a direct reflection on them.
My dm is acting so clueless but pushing sales down our throats.
If they told you, you won’t have a job April 1st...how hard would you work to achieve objective? The way it is now people think they need to hit objectives to be considered for having a job. Three criteria they will “tell” you they use to determine who stays and who goes...tenure, geography, and performance.
If you are eliminated you have to right to ask for and receive a list of those let go by age, gender, etc! All the things protected by the EEOC.....! Read it and weep! Then watch them open their mouths and spew c-ap. Always do! My advice to anyone is to lawyer up! I will!
Couldn't agree more. I'm a long time employee that used to be proud. Not anymore. Understand some things need ironed out but not a single word has been said since the original call and company expects us to go on as normal. Someone needs to address the elephant in the room.
It’s pretty transparent if you ask me! This is all playing just in line with the strategic plan. Dork is going to discuss today at the conference how he is gonna make Mondelez stronger and more attractive to shareholders in 2021....his plan includes getting rid of DSD ( supply chain). Can’t get much more evident that this! I’m sorry some people can’t see things.
I agree. Any DM that knows what is going on with their team should be passing information down to the reps. Expecting us to chase objectives when they can't even tell us if we have a job is a joke.
