I work in the core technology area that maintains the hardware and the hosting platforms. Our stability has increased greatly in the last year. We are using the ITSM model to drive improvements and it’s paying off. Our internal customers are delighted. I strongly believe the business units could copy our model to drive success

For sure, the ITSM improvements are great. Servers are dropping off the network at breakneck speeds as record numbers of outages are reported. Not good.
Our ITSM is highly skilled and leading massive quality improvements, too bad you don’t see it
The technology is a house of cards. Yes lots and lots of mainframes
"Please tell me Fiserv is not running authentic mainframes."
We have one of the newer ones. It is a pull-start.
Please tell me Fiserv is not running authentic mainframes.
I don’t know if Amazon has a mainframe cloud
They should be hosting in one of the clouds like AWS or Azure. Having core hosts in data centers scattered all over the country is so archaic.
You sound like a support engineer
Most business units are not CORE IT ..,... most do not have a rack of servers in their desk area. Sounds like a well trained shill using IT terms to me. OH, I am an Info Tech person long gone from Dodge city - worked in data centers. Oh, that it is good term to use too. Know what a 42 U rack is?
