When I tell people about my situation is at work, everyone usually tells me to leave this job as soon as possible because it is better everywhere than here. If nothing else, the future is safer in some other companies. When I came here to the forum, everyone also said that we should jump ship as soon as possible. And I really tried, but to no avail. Now I feel totally worthless. It turns out that everyone can find another, better job, except me.

Look, if you want to work in Macy's, you CAN do that, I'm not gonna deprive you from getting your job. But just keep your eyes WIDE OPEN with this company. Macy's constantly lays people off and then has the damn nerve to hire new employers, only for them to get laid off too in a few years. I'm personally done with Macy's, it's a sh– store with dumb–s ghetto broke id–ts who are desperate for a damn dollar, but if you want to work there, that's all up to you.
You do realize that 10 million jobs have been lost during the pandemic? There are people who cannot find a job. Thinking of yourself as a failure will NOT help you in any way. Keep looking for another job and keep a positive attitude.
