Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

Revolt?

Bonus conversations started and not going well. Numerous resignations already on the table.
Take whatever bogus bonus was arbitrarily calculated for you and get out now.
There is a bright future ahead of you, and it does not read "US Bank".
You will be happier than ever

Sorry ya'll but no one knows how to take accountability or accept the fact that a company won't reward you for doing the bare minimum or simply SHOWING UP.
Grow up and work hard, you will be rewarded.
Quit blaming a company that isn't your mom - who likely believes all of your B.S. and tells you that you are awesome at everything.
To those that are leaving - BYEEEEEEEE. Don't let the door hit ya.

What a slap in the face! Anyone know how they even calculated bonuses this year? Our incentive plan expired March 2020 and we never signed or received a new one like we told we would receive in April 2020. Tried to look in ICM for the new plan, nothing to be found. Not sure how I can be told I’m getting only X% of my base salary as a bonus. Just a measly piece of paper with no explanations, what a joke.

So true, employees aren’t the only ones suffering and being hurt. Shareholders are being duped. The pandemic definitely had its challenges, but not as significant as being reported and factoring into bonuses. Leaders released a ton of non related decisions into the mix of pandemic losses. Totally skirting any accountability that was coming. Anyone thinking there was a reckoning coming for leaders, they are executing there zero accountability clean slate plan and your acceptance of your bonus is the final piece. Take your bonus we and *.

Better than no bonus?? When bankers were making $300+ extra a month, then $1100 annually... then told half THAT this year because your district didn’t hit their goals during a PANDEMIC... that is so insulting. I’m glad my branch closed, I got a job offer 30k more than what I made at USB. They pay so low to be doing sh– like this.

USB doesn’t value their employees. Bonuses this year were abysmal and worse yet, management got lazy and tried to use covid as the excuse. In reality, the bank made billions and AC and the exec team made sure they got theirs and the $4 Billion in share buybacks went through. The employees are the ones paying for all of it. Other companies actually still value employees and will pay a premium and be appreciative of a former USB employee. AC ruined a once proud company but don’t worry, he’ll get his as will TW and all of those that have lined up to kiss his ungrateful @$$.
