Just received 4 Ghrn Total losses and must handle, We were told we need to handle after hours or on the weekend, we could apply for event pay.

@ndm..you obviously don't understand what exempt is or what you agreed to. There is no overtime with exempt. You are pretty much a 24/7 on call employee. Several times I have had my manager call me on a Saturday night or Sunday afternoon telling me I was needed for work for a few hours. Once even got called into a meeting last minute at 10pm on a Saturday night. They can fire you as an exempt employee for not being readily available at all hours. I have seen it happen. If that is your position then you may find it in your best interest to pursue a non-exempt position in or out of Allstate.
Screw that sh–, im exempt but i cut off at 8 hrs. Dont care if I leave stuff undone. You want OT, better fork out for it.
If you are exempt you can now consider yourselves property belonging to Allstate for whatever bidding at whatever time they choose. They technically can call exempt employees at 3am and tell you to get out of bed and get to work. This could be a reality for those left after 2021's mass claims layoffs and a major typhoon hits and shuts down the India operations for a time.
Just wait until the mandatory overtime for non-exempts that is coming up for some departments. Yep, we know all about that too. Isn't Transformative Growth great???
Yes, trying to figure out how to work the totals in the ccc portal with no help or training either. Too many layoffs means not enough adjusters to do the work on top of 7-8 daily inspects .
