SUGGESTIONS FOR BAD TERRITORY/B2B/BAD SM & MP

HI V-Teamer!(LMAO)

  1. Any news on what’s going to happen in SMB B2B/Govt? Layoffs?
  2. If you have a territory that is bad what are some arguments I can used to move or have them take a look at my module? I would hate to go to HR(fear of Retaliation) my territory is not producing.
  3. Is stress level a good idea?

Need to VZW and trying to understand the culture.

Learn to sell lol b2b reps have 0 idea on how to sell new logos lmao 90%+ of sales from the base is sad. B2b at every other carrier is new logo only...

My advice, document and create a paper trail of everything your doing to show that you are actually doing work. Example: send an end of day recap to your manager saying what you did, and list each item. This will show and demonstrate you are doing your job and all they can do is critique you instead of blame you.

My two cents is that Verizon doesn’t care if the territory is “bad”.

They don’t see it as the “territory” isn’t producing only that “you” are not producing. That is why it is critical to research a territory before accepting the role especially when it comes to smb.

My only suggestion is to try and get another role elsewhere before you get termed for failure to meet quota.

I can’t imagine any scenario where you could go to HR and they back you.

“The leads are weak” isn’t going to cut it.

Didn’t say everyone or everything was bad. Clearly asking for suggestions! Having a bad sales territory isn’t unheard of. So Tom what would you suggest? Since you seem like an expert.
