Contract worker "Furlough"

Effective Monday, March 22nd, all contract workers at Xerox will be furloughed for 2 weeks (for now) to save money right before the end of the quarter. Contract workers were notified by their managers today.

It isn't ALL contractors, and it isn't two weeks for everyone. Some are being furloughed for only 5 days, some for 7 days, and some for ZERO days. I know of three people who aren't being furloughed at all.

We have customer sites 100 percent staffed by contractors. So it can't be all contactors else major lawsuits as you take away printing depts in hospitals, universities, fortune 500 companies.

Xerox playing games with the workforce ..
Not a good sign right before earnings report.
Anything to squeeze a dollar at the expense of the workers.

Yeah...2 weeks...becomes 6 weeks, then forever...This really instills confidence that Xerox is doing well financially...Like letting someone die to save 50 cents on a life saving d–g...
