Is it just me or a lot of people randomly “offline” with no out of office messages on...?

I never did do not disturb because then they show up at your cube (when we were still in the office). I’d rather they be online than in my face when I am trying to work.
When I really need to be left alone, I log out of Skype completely. Doesn’t mean I’m not working. Even when I put on do not disturb, people will email or call because they know I’m at work. Sometimes I just need that protected time to get actual quality work done without all the interruptions.
We have the busy body woman in our group who is always trying to get people to do her work. I have to put a block on people of this kind, even this one on my team. She is super annoying along with about 3 of the men that moved over.
Well, today was the last day to use carryover PTO, so...
I change my status to appear away. Then no one bothers me.
maybe the patch masters trying to show the org they are doing work to avoid layoffs
A guy on my team is off line most of the day everyday. He doesn’t even attend Skype meetings. So much for wfh is more productive. Lots of goofing off when no one is around
It's just you
They have lives during work hours. Ssshh. Don't tell.
My Skype lost connectivity for a few minutes today.
It means you're getting laid off!
maybe the dude from the drive thru running patches again
Windows update day, forcing restarts
spring break has started plus there was a big windows update being pushed over the last week which requires multiple reboots so perhaps people are going through that.
Probably the same people constantly away from their desk before Covid.
