So with 50% of the reps under national average and pipped out each month, and next month another 50% and so on and so on. We will eventually be down to 1 person in each location by end of year. Does this make any sense?

It is comical that people think HR has their backs. You can be fired for any reason.
Tbh it's all smoke none of this will hold up with HR
I stupidly bought in to the idea of the “one team”. After seeing the new disciplinary action, I also realized there’s nothing “team” about it. I think the quality of sale dashboard is interesting, but consider it ridiculous that someone is judged by what their coworkers sell, not by what the actual target is. So what if you did (or didn’t) do your part of the quota, all that matters is how much you contributed to the overall sales of the store.
Makes me very uncomfortable to be held to such a variable standard.
Can anyone say what new store closures have happened? I haven’t heard of any since the big let go in January
For the last time...Verizon is closing all the corporate stores slowly but surely. This process is happening right before your eyes and you’re still wondering what’s going on.
I recommend spending your shifts applying to other jobs in between customers. It will take awhile in this job market so you better get started.
I'd suggest avoiding all the parts of the job that aren't the 5-6 things on the contribution standards paper.
Receive inventory? No thanks, don't want to be off the floor, Sales force calls? I'll pass I rather sell to customers that are actually present. Coworker needs help? Go find your manager I got to make some sales. It's just not worth helping your team or being a team when you have individual targets. Not worth getting fired and losing your hourly checks because you took time helping your team succeed to make some bootsy a$$ "commission" check
Your coworker could literally stand there mute and you help them close a sale but if it doesn't show on a report it didn't happen.
According to Verizon big wigs and Brainiac's there is now only 5-6 ways to contribute to the team, store and company. It'll be interesting to see who picks up the slack and it's going to be SMs sadly. There sharking and sniping of sales is already started again among reps.
Forward together: we went backwards. coaching's to grow, leader board to contribution standards.
I for one am not doing anything that is team related as the only thing team is how they pay a bonus and that we are people in the same building.
Yea seems about right eventually they only want 2 reps per store and a self served kiosk.
I raised the white flag yesterday and gave my 1 day notice. Thank God for a much better job.
