Retail is a mess. Leadership wanting accounts loaded with VZP, VZhome, VISA, and get more. Requiring reps to do quotes loaded with everything. Guess what.. you have someone coming from tmo and the price is out of this world and they walk. Growth is king for the company, yet potential customers are walking and current customers are fleeing.

Also POS and quote tools are not working correctly.

OE is the worst! We just started this Spring one and I’m already getting customers saying they are sick of every Verizon employee jumping on them about Verizon Protect and not even listening to what they called in about in the first place. I'm in Tier 2 so customer’s typically talk to customer service before me so they get the sales pitch from both departments. And the number of reps just adding it to customers accounts even if the device is damaged or even without the customer knowing it was added always leads to OE fallout after the fact with my occ’s going thru the roof cleaning up messes that OE pressure causes. I’m on the 0 add list and roll my eyes when my supervisor mentions that to me in Slack every 10 min. I just do my job: tech support

Get a job in a store in a lower income area. You'll thank me for that advice. If you pick the right area, you'll still hit your quota, but the demographics will keep upper leadership off your back for vzhome, and you might only see 2 or 3 prequals for the vzcard as a store, so checking not interested on them won't raise any flags. You'll hit quota and eliminate hum 2.0 and hum 3.0 from your burdens.

Customer comes in to switch, build quote with get more, vzp md and vzp home. Customer is blown away by the price and walks. Offer Verizon credit card to pay for it all, still walks. Management = "what happened? me = "Hey you. You're finally awake"

Don't listen to management. Undercut tmo, get your new lines and make up sales dollars another way. When management sees their commission double they will stop hounding you, at least Until the last day of the month when a random 1 survey comes in and cuts your commission check in half.
