Anyone else notice the new Wells Fargo ATM's that have just popped up in the middle of parking lots of middle size shopping center recently? Very small ATM's for drive up only. Just noticed 2 in the space of a 4 mile drive. I guess these are to replace all the branches they are closing.

@2eec. Your east coast visit is showing as is your NY attitude toward anyone outside there. You need a shot of perspective at the local bah.
@1zkm - I’m with ya but there’s a person in this forum that seems to think branches are ultra important. This might be the case in fly over states but not for major cities and their adjacent zip codes. Based on this other person, people go to the bank to deposit cash/checks, withdraw cash, cash checks - which can all be done with a modern ATM. But who knows, it’s WF, perhaps the execs have grandparents that like to hangout at the branches
who goes to a branch anymore? you can do most everything digital accept get cash. Therefore the ATMs make sense. I was upset when i had to go to a branch to wire money for my home closing. They need to find a way to make that digital as well. I understand as it was for security reasons due to the amount but come on, lets improve that process.
do they still only dispense $50 bills and above?
I went to 6 different ATMS before I could find one that would dispense a $20 bill
That does seem to be the plan. On the plus side, they are nice ATMs, I've used a few of them.
