Everything falling into place. Pearson will still lag way behind Cengage Unlimited but may be ‘in the race’ with NG branding on their side.
As for the sale there are meetings and calls about it. Right now it’s down to a few things.
Does NG approve of the name going to Pearson? I know they were extremely unhappy with how DH ran the ship over there along with the Marketing team. From what I gather DH was let go because of this but who knows.
Will Cengage earn any revenue from the sale? This is a big one as from what is being leaked only a very small number of NGL employees will go with the sale as Pearson only wants the brand and partnership.
Will NGL simply let the deal expire and do a separate deal with Pearson? If so will Heinle remain or be shelved??
