I got to get out of here. Either that or quit, and try to get unemployment.

You do realize, if you quit there's no unemployment for you. Have that second job lined up before you quit Verizon. Incidentally I'm 20 years in and I love it, maybe you need to stick it out or look for a different position.
CS & Telesales is a Gold Mine right now. If they keep every CS & Telesales employee work from home....it would save the company so much office space overhead, there wouldn’t be a need to offer a Package to leave.
Yeah they are. And it pays very, very well. So well in fact I am going to retire soon.

Quit and use the 3 to 6 months of living expenses you saved to find a better life for yourself. Quitters don't get unemployment by the way...
