Someone posted on the other board there will be voluntary separation packages coming soon, can anyone confirm? Will we all have a way out? Is there a God?

Agree completely they have slowly made these job not worth staying, because they don’t want us. They will continue to make it miserable, and now that they are bringing back f—ging(negative reinforcement, pip). If you stay they will just start caring about things they haven’t cared about too much because we were performing. Eventually they will fire you for things that haven’t been an issue in the past. I used to think this was the best job, now it is us versus them which is a terrible way to live.
Speration packages yes hand outs for poor people. But when a CEO runs a company into the ground and still gets his package it's just his contract right?
Just like Spaulding from Caddyshack, you’ll get nothing and like it.
Do you think 2 weeks a year will change your life? Stop asking for a handout to leave. Time to put on your big boy or girl pants and create your own future.
Reps are not going to get laid off. They are thinning out the stores so when they do close stores, they have job openings for reps to transfer and then they can say they didn’t lay off anyone.
Why would they. They have just set up a system to trap and fire a large group of retail employees.
I do not see a buy put coming and I will tell you why. They have set the road map for easy removal of many employees.
Setting unrealistic goals, having customers stay out of stores , and pushing visa, way over priced insurance, etc.
So in a few months as outlined in the training, they have documentation to remove employees. It is a set up.
Also in March they were going to do the next "go PT and love it" push.
They do not want to pay any type of package for anyone.
It also "looks" bad to lay people off.. so make it look like all the sudden employees all s— and fire them all and replace them with kids working for minimum wage.
I don’t think it will happen anytime soon. The short term ramifications could put the direct stores in jeopardy. If they made the offer it is projected that 15-20% of the work force would take it. Retail stores are already working with a thin staff so they are in no position to lose 1-2 reps per location. Yes I realize they could hire to replace but it takes time and I don’t legally think Verizon can offer severance packages and hire at the same time. Maybe someone can clarify that ?
That would be awesome
