"Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action up to and including termination"
I'll bet you've heard this phrase at least 3 times just this past week.

This is something every job has. Period. Regardless of how it is phrased. If you are not complying with company policy or job description.... Uh, yea, that can result in coaching or even termination depending on the offense or how many times you are coached for it. If you are hearing this, perhaps you should focus on what else they are saying before and after that statement and correct your behavior. No company will just let you keep on not adhering to policy or job description. And if you are hearing that it sounds like you are getting feedback conversations and chances to correct whatever behavior. So .... Correct it. Follow policy, do your job and you won't hear it anymore. If you are having to be told 3 times a week... You need to consider what YOU are doing to be hearing that. It's not just random for no reason.
I’ve never heard it. Seems to be the employees that aren’t good do. People are lucking that there are termination policies in place. I’d rid of Atleast 10 instantly. Count your graces.
I've heard it for the people who never read their job description. But with the sliding scale educational system it doesn't surprise me.
I'll second the last person. I have never heard that statement. I have read it in corporate policies and seen it in cbls but I have never once been told that I would be fired for not complying. I think your managers need to work on their communication skills.
I've never heard it, maybe you are just a bad employee
