Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Things used to be different around here

20 years ago when I was working there, store managers cared about their people and helped develop you and your career with the company. Those days are long gone. Manage through fear and intimidation seems to be the MO of what the company wants these days in a store manager, along with a willingness to move around from store to store at the company’s request. Most of what few good store managers Lowe’s had at one time have either retired or been pushed out. All they care about now are hitting plan and bonusing, everything else be d**.

They cut hours. They hire more sheep. Then they expand store operating hours. Illogical garbage like this is what you come to expect from Blowes.

What is up with the cutting of hours??? This company brags about how much money they made last and Marvin is giddy about out-comping the Depot all four quarters last year. David Shaw wipes his ar$e with twenty dollar bills just because he likes the texture. They even talk about how their research shows this will be another massive year for the home improvement industry so why the drastic cutting of hours??? Please don't answer...its a rhetorical question.
