I was let go been with company 20 years no real reason to why I was chosen, but the rest of my team got their new territories and I find out they are smaller than what I'm working right now. So how does laying off 2 to 3 reps per team equal smaller territories when I thought they would get bigger??? Also hearing one of the reps new territory his closest store is over an hour away when I live on my territory but got let go.

Are those s—ling noises I hear?
Oh, it's time for your feeding...
Why don't you get off this site?
You don't agree with anyone here, so WHY are you here?
Just to cause trouble?
You're one of the toxic ones we're all talking about.
Big boy here. You wish you could handle a big boy route! That's why they give you 18 once a week stores that have less than $1000 orders.
No, big boys have big brown noses, so it prevents them from doing a real man's job, so the DMs gotta give the big boys itty bitty tittie routes, and nurse them through the day!
PATHETIC!!!
Well duh. Big Boys get 9-10 stores because we bring in that $$$$$.
Maybe all your coworkers routes did get bigger, BUT, your route was already so much bigger than all of theirs, that even with an increase in store counts on your coworkers routes, yours was still bigger?
That goes on in my area too.
Some reps had 17-18 stores, some only had 9-10. Yes, I'm serious. And it was not because the 9-10 store routes had high volume stores. It's because the DMs are biased.
Baby routes for lazy, favored reps, horrendous overloaded routes for people not in good.
Nepotism and favoritism runs rampant in this company!
And if you're older, please keel over and die, or voluntarily quit cause it's embarrassing and obvious when WE have to try and make you quit by giving you older workers routes with 20 stores, while the younger ones only have 10.
It also puts a lot of pressure on the DMs to keep trying to come up with BS reasons why said older worker has 20 stores, when youngens' have 10.
Then there's the pressure on the poor RMS. You older workers need to throw 6 loads per day, and write 8 orders, in 5 1/2 hours per ideploy because they don't have enough merchandisers to help you because the rest of the people need help with their 2 loads, and 1 order write per day.
And yes I've personally seen this over and over.
Mondelez cares about certain types of people.
Wh*tes need not apply.
The only thing you need to know to make sense of how Mondelez management handles their business is, "profit over people". Its not the direction most companies are going these days, but Mondelez still is. They simply do NOT care about their people.
Get off this board and consult a lawyer. Get that money!!!
Maybe if you heeded the advice from “that generation”, you would be more successful and not as bitter. But I guess every generation needs to find its own path.
If you browse this board it’s all over. Companies have it down to a science to stay out of trouble.
Insurance, oil, tech, investments, banking. Doesn’t matter it’s like a mandatory if you worked here 20years = mandatory layoff. They throw in a few sacrificial lambs to adjust the averages.
And when it happens the generation before us that stayed at your company for 30-40 years in the same role tells us "it’s all our fault and you shoulda known it was coming and if we loved hard word, had strong relationships and a good head on our shoulders these things just don’t happen - by God companies keep those people!"....... Said the man who put two kids through college and and purchased a vacation home working for the regional telephone company from 1980 to 2010 simply by.... showing up every day............. love getting advice from that demographic.
The biggest technology job threat they ever had was fax machines, cable modems, and platinum spark plugs (Dear god spark plugs last 100,000 miles how will I survive!
