So a MSS takes lunch, leaves a cashier in charge? What? Yep that is what the cashier told others the next day. In inmates are running the the asylum

Our front end does not run well, especially when certain front end supervisors are working In this case, it was Sunday, we were very busy as it was nearing the first of the month. We were super short staffed, which is nothing new and the front end supervisor was pretty stressed out. On top of that the club was prepping for inventory. Floor partners including the TL was very busy that day. The cashier in question ran around the following day telling everyone how she was left in charge. She was very stressed. This should not be happening. A good leader should have the common sense to make sure another T.L. or manager is aware of what is going on. This was not the case.

Big deal. If there is a problem, all they have to do is call another team lead or manager. Other than that, all they are is a glorified key turner. There is no power.

This is unheard of and appalling. What’s next? MSS goes to bathroom while on duty?

Wow. No. Should be any other TL in building or the AM. Although if the front end is well ran.. no one needs to "be in charge". Breaks should be done or delegated before the TL leaves for break. So during those short 30 min the only reason anyone needs to be there is if there is an issue. Which any TL or AM can and should respond to. Just sayin.
