Not much difference here from working at the Weinstein Company -bullying, harassment, threats, fear of retaliation, spying, double agents. Only thing missing is being successful in our industry. I’m looking to get out. When’s the next round of layoffs?

A colleague of mine resigned from this company after being harrassed and bullied by his manager for many years. He had complained to HR , but as usual nothing happened except that office life became even more intolerable for him.

He looked for jobs outside 3M and found one. During his so called exit interview, his own manager, widely known in the group as a racist bully, showed up along with HR to make sure that the employee did not say anything negative about him while he left the company.

Exit interview along with your own manager .... come on !

Literally told HR my fellow co-worker physically forced on me, and HR never came back to me after I reported. In fact, when I reported, the male in HR asked me ‘what were you wearing’, while his female manager said nothing!!! I continue to work side by side with the coworker. I think they just like to hold the information on file for when they want to get rid of someone. HR is the group that we should look to lay off next. Their posters and stickers on respect don’t cut it when there’s actually no follow-through. It’s time for me to leave.

The HR here is non existence

Everything is self learning

Totally no development here

As a manager, I brought a concern of a direct report to HR as it was a valid concern. And they ignored it. Things were so uncomfortable for the employee they ended up quitting. And the behavior continues.

Never trust or speak to HR, they are not there to protect you !
Their job is to protect the company !
Never trust an ombudsman or anyone in HR, think of them as the enemy !
