New commission restructure - heard anything?

Speaking with management it sounds like another commission structure was hinted at today. On the deck a slide flashed very quickly with the formula:

(New+bucket)/2

And that was it. They sent out the deck and that slide was completely gone.
Rumour has it announcement this Sunday (February 1) and implementation March 1.

Anyone seen anything? Looks like it could potentially be a removal from ris and maybe averaging your total percentages. If this is the case - this would prove to be a pretty solid structure.

Change was now you do have a minimum attainment to get a commission check.. previously you were guaranteed like $550 or something before taxes, regardless of results

They are just reducing the threshold to start showing money. Your combined average of bucket and phone add percentage needs to be over 50% to start showing money.

I have heard they are getting rid of commission. How is it going to work for multi store teams? Only thing that make sense is no commission.

In December 8 reps in our store did from 60 gross adds to 30 gross adds with lots of pull thru. It was a trying month for the disgraceful surveys we ended doing a 1.0 multiplier, during the month we were helping 1 customer after another some days with no lunch. SO after taxes each rep made $500. The morale has plunged to an lime low.This in the NYC area and a high cost of living. All the reps have started looking elsewhere.

Some good thoughts and some a bit more condescending. Guess we'll see what happens.

Which part of no new commission structure did you not understand. Wage increases for retail have been frozen and nothing will be changing in the commission structure. Buckle up for a long year if in fact you are here at years end!!

Currently sales metrics have very little bearing on the size of our paychecks. Clearly that has had a very negative effect on the business. Of course there will be a change because obviously the current structure is one of the worst in company history. So when raises kick in will we be signing off on a new commission pay plan?
