Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Working at Truist

Working at Truist means:

  • having no work-life balance because you are
  • doing the job of three different people for the price of one
  • while under constant threat of layoffs
  • while receiving no support from your superiors
  • and receiving no recognition for the work you are doing.

Did I miss anything?

Hair loss from all the stress.

Made me laugh, but still true.

You also forgot:

Constant Web EX's that go nowhere.

Blue Zone deposit system that's a relic from the past.

Managers that have the power to do nothing.

Hair loss from all the stress.

Since Lincoln made the Emancipation Proclamation, Truist can't force you to stay if you feel like your compensation isn't worth the aggravation.

You forgot:

  • no merit increase if you are in a highly skilled role (unless seeds of hope count)
  • stuck using 5 year old laptops (or older) that are slower than watching paint dry
  • a CEO who thinks everyone is getting along so wonderfully without a care in the world
