Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

I have to wonder....

  • if some of the unbelievably horrendous leadership coming out of some of the new management, especially ones coming from IBM are deliberate attempts to create mass voluntarily attrition.

Some to the decision making I’ve seen lately defies logic, even by Truist standards. Like multi-million dollar investments being thrown away and key stakeholders being put at risk, all while continuing to drive morale down further into the gutter.

I just can’t imagine how much worse this s**show is going to get.

Sad to say it is all about a dollar for them. I read something the other day that the executive management team should really think hard about (of course I know they want). “ your supposed to love people and use things, however now days people are being used and things are being loved” so sad🥲

Can’t speak to any of these IBM folks that have been brought in but is it possible they can be worse than existing management? How?
