Verizon made billions, we could have been the bastion of customer service. We could have poured money into apprenticing people across roles in the company. Now all we have is a corporate hatchet hacking away the most willing. The willing are what builds companies. We took the short path to the bottom instead of the climb to the peak.

Verlieson is actually billions in debt.
It is a sad day. Will employees finally see what is happening!?!? We are being used as tools to undo our own jobs. Hans, the Irish dude and ol Krista don't get a flying c-ap about you.
Those billions went out the door when T-Mobile cut out all their fat and passed the cost savings to customers. Verizon has no choice but to follow them, because they aren't making 40% margins on retail anymore. It's easy to have great customer service when you're rolling in cash, but customers have shown for half a century that they're more than willing to jettison customer service to save a buck. Since the Internet and delivery exist, retail stores have become about as relevant as Buggy Whips.
