T Mobile is Hiring!!
@2kaq Good points.
Couldn't agree more with your idea regarding the narrowing of quality variance within the wireless area which, in turn, has made competition an ever-increasing concern.
Luckily, our quality fiber landline network has steadfastly continued to hold its own, constantly coming out head and shoulders above what some of our "competitors" are capable of offering, with our satisfied customers not only praising the consistent reliability of our network but, on those rare occasions in which there is some actual limited service interruption, enjoying the peace of mind that our reputation for speedy restoration turnaround being forthcoming has given them.
With more people than ever working from home, as well as many of our Nation’s children learning remotely, the importance of our superior landline fiber network has never been greater, or its quality and reliability more appreciated.
@2kaq Good points all.

A “do nothing job?” GTFO. Spend a week in my shoes.
@jkd+192rHH8U It's not T-Mobiles price war anymore than it's VZ or ATT price war. It's a natural consequence of wireless networks getting so good that you can't compete on higher quality the way you could when networks worse. Now you have wifi calling indoors and great coverage from all 3 big carriers. The rest is just economics.
Wireless service is now like electricity or internet, something everyone needs but you don't care what brand you get it from as long as it works.
Hans laid out his plans last year. Retail at Verizon is dead.
There's no money left in corporate retail after Legere's T-Mobile price war forced margins into nothing, just a cost structure designed to support twice the current rates. Retail doesn't bring home the bacon anymore, and is a smaller and smaller slice of revenue. Amazon gets by just fine without any retail outlets. Verizon will be just fine selling plans at Best Buy and the "Call China 1 cent!" Indirects.
Nope. Retail is dead. This is the first step in Verliesons retail exit strategy.
NorCal got hit hard too
@pqt+192rHH8U I wouldn’t say dead, but defintely trimming down. Indirect account manager is about to be dead though. Serves it right, it was a do nothing job.
Those jobs were cut all over today. Retail is dead...
