I hear people saying layoffs will continue next week but I thought we were done for now. How worried should I be?

I don't think so. Verlieson usually swings the axe on pay weeks around 60 days from the end of a quarter so they can get everyone off the books before the new quarter begins.
I hope not, I don't think it'll happen again within 6 months.
You can stay and wait for Verizon to close your store if you want. I suggest looking elsewhere and stop waiting.

Verizon tends to rip the band-aid off. They do it all at once and quick. If you didn't get a call from HR yesterday then you are safe.
