Direct location only told we will be one Verizon. Does this mean we are still employed by Verizon?

It means that excess chains of command in management are going to be eliminated en masse, and a lot of people will be made "Not Verizon" by transferring control of the stores to indirect companies, ergo, companies that aren't Verizon.
If you didn't get a call from HR and offered one of the following:
1) Transfer to new location
2) Work from home in Telesales or Customer Service
3) Take severance
Then you are still employed by Verizon. For now.....Really Bra?
