In my family the men work in our trucking business, and the women work in banking. It’s been like this for generations. Last week a position opened up at my oldest sister’s bank. She has the ‘pull’ to get me in. It would require moving (single, no children) and while she is the managing director I am hesitant on taking the position because she is my sister. I haven’t been with Truist as long as others and am afraid I will get cut sometime in the future. Should I take advantage of this or keep looking elsewhere?

Only you can answer the question, but by the mere fact you are asking an anonymous forum for their input, that should tell you something. This much has been made crystal clear to all of us - executive management at Truist doesn’t value people - period. This is the reason there is no camaraderie, teamwork or respect for outside ideas. Unless there are compelling financial reasons otherwise, I don’t see why anyone would spend their precious time on this earth at this organization - it is corporate dysfunction on parade!
Get out now. With 2021 upon us, you ain’t seen nothing yet! Layoffs will be cranked up to maximum this year
Sounds like you already know what to do. You're just looking for a nudge toward the door. NUDGE!
There is life after TRUIST and it is good. There ya go.
Do it!
I’d keep looking tbh. Who knows once Kelly is gone and Bill takes over if the pension goes away as well as other benefits. Plus I think we’re always going to be under constant threat of RIFS.
Do it!
Get out while you can, this is an opportunity and if's your sister, she'll always be up front with you as she is family, family comes first:)
