Hearing so many heart-touching stories of all full timers that are with bank for decades, I do not consider the contractors have any problem bigger than theirs.
Get another project with another client and move on. I am telling this as another IT contractor !
Contracting will not go away as Truist needs people to carry out the business, especially Merger activities at scale. But whether it is Vendor Company A or B, it all depends on Group Managers - hSTI or hBBT.
