I worked for BP between 1982 and 1995, and voluntarily took the package and all my retirement monies. This period of time was the best jobs I have ever had in my career. But, BP started changing when Browne bought Amoco. Having Amoco on board to change its culture was devastating to bp, and since then, bp has slide. But, I will never forget the opportunities, raises, promotions, etc. I received at bp, and I am American.
