Some people just don't listen and don't care about the well being of others around them. A group of employees (young and older) got together for a party. Now we have a surge of the virus in our club. The people who organized this party were old enough to know better. One is a MSS, who by the way has tested positive. We have so many people out it is crazy. Only one cashier closing last night. Thanks guys for putting all of us in jeopardy.

After the first wave of associates out, we find out yesterday it is hitting associates in other areas also. This is absolutely crazy. We have to hear it all through the gossip...and before someone starts yelling it a privacy thing, you are wrong. We have the right to know. Perhaps not who has it, but that it is surging.
Hospitals are haft empty. Just ask anyone that works at one.
It is very real and thriving at our club. Close to 30 cases in our club in last month. We even CLOSED early last Friday and were closed all day Saturday to clean and stock. Wonder how many family members got it also.
Some people have no sense and others are taking off for covid, when really they want the extra off time for Christmas!
The problem with the people that don't believe is that you further help the spread, which leads to our health care system breaking, literally at the seems. You can bring in all the beds you want into a hospital but they do absolutely nothing if you don't have the doctors and nurses to treat the patient.
That was the whole plan behind flattening the curve remember? It was to support our health system people! Yes most have mild symptoms but what about the ones that don't? Being ignorant means more spread which means more deaths. Don't you want less people to die? Least I would hope...
You naysayers are ridiculous. Due to the thoughtless associates in our club, we are down a total 22 people. Most are from the front end. 3 are on LOA, 1 on injury, the remainder have either tested positive or were exposed. We are beyond busy. Had to close the cafe to use those people to help staff front end.
Because of a party like that other people have gotten sick or others were asked to go into quarantine because they were infected or been around others at work. Now suffering other have to be on quarantine for 14 days so, their actions others can’t work
You can not stop living. Dont live in your fear
That’s a very small number considering the population of the U.S. No reason to live in fear. Hate to tell u but we are all going to die. It’s just part of life.
Perhaps to some it is just the sniffles, however we are so shorthanded it is pathetic. It is the holidays and we have no help. Not only are the associates who tested positive are out for at least 2 weeks, but all the attendees of the party were sent home to quarantine. Mgt. has authorized OT and extra hours to anyone who wants it. Covid is not a joke, over 300,000 people have died in this country and I dare say more are going to.
It’s not just people going to these parties, I got covid from work could have been from another associate or member but it’s there and it’s real I don’t go out so I know it came from work.... stay safe everyone covid is no joke
Put all of you at risk of catching a bug that most do not even show symptoms from and 99.9 percent of those who do show symptoms survive easily. Be afraid , run home and bathe in disinfectant ...hahahaha...geesh the whole thing is just nonsense...
