Both Charlie and that single mother chose their lives.
Since institutions hold the majority of shares, those large institutions are the only ones that matter. The individual shareholders like us do not matter, as our voting rights have zero impact.
I heard a top executive say a few years ago that “shareholders don’t matter anymore”. Their pay and bonuses are all that matter. Shareholders are little people it seems.
If the company wasn't spending millions paying higher ups, so many ppl would have jobs
You certainly can’t blame the CEO for this. He wasn’t here for the last 25 years of non-stop corruption. The reality is that the emperor had no clothes. Wells was never the bank that was presented to investors and regulators, let alone team members. We are all now going through tough times but it is important to understand that our long and vast history of systemic corruption which has made us the problem child for the entire financial industry. We are too big to fail and need to be shrunken and disassembled.
Those of us who never participated in corruption should be hoping for a lay off and actively searching at this time, maybe with a holiday break. But have no doubt, Scharf represents the only solution and really is doing what the entire country, if not world, needs. Certainly wish that he had a compassionate bone in his body, but he can’t with his politics and greed, but even with compassion he would still be executing the same plan.
Whiners and thief’s. All wf employees. Your held accountable for once and all you do is whine. Wells Fargo should get rid of 175000 employees cause that’s the level of scum that work there
I like all the down votes on posts where, instead of joining the pity party and commiserating on how Wells Fargo's Big Black Boot of Oppression is on my neck through no fault of my own and I should get a cool Mil in my pocket just for showing up, people are told to s— it up buttercup and be better at life if you're worried about where you're at or what happened to someone else.
It's as if Wells is some sort of power hunger fear mongering Prime Minister and people only have the choice of working here or death. If you're truly concerned you will make a better life for you and yours regardless of what that entails. Oh no, here I am up on my high horse again lacking empathy. I forgot that sheeple are unable to recognize when they need to switch gears, retrain or reorganize their thought process to become whatever they interpret as "successful." They can merely trudge ahead doing the same garbage and complain about how good they are but how little they are appreciated.
Which fraud did Charlie commit?
Yup unfortunately we just voted the corruption back in, on steroids. Well actually we didn’t, but it doesn’t matter who bpvotes, it’s who counts the votes...
CEO is easy job, ill take it!
Sit in the bahamas and order people in the states around;
Visit with Nancy Peloski for happy hours. What a life!

And kids in China sweat shops suffered while making the fancy smartphone you used to create this post
Life is not fair. It just goes on
You should go to CEO school then. $5 Mill plus a ton of stock options isn't a bad payday.
@mpv+18mrRge7, u r a loser
Single mothers shouldn’t of had kids and sacrificed more... they could have been the ones making millions and laying off Charlie ... too bad Charlie was the one willing to put the time in... now he can layoff everyone
