Bonus Pool Funding

With bonus discussions among management well underway, can someone please share the actual funding level for incentive compensation? Boards have indicated that the funding this year is 80%. Is this accurate? Interested in learning about legacy wholesale/commercial banking.

Thanks in advance!

Nope. Nope and nope. Get a meets expect 81 to 84 pct with 2 pct raise unless you ratio is under 95 and a nice manager will bump you up. If you get a 2 it means no raise and maybe 35 percent bonus.

There has been a significant con on evaluating mgrs coerced into a forced curve for ratings without being told in advance how much an Inconsistently Meets would later hose your f—ing budget.

I'm getting nothing so it doesn't matter to me.

I think it's 90% under $5k. The rest is true

It depends on what your 100% funded target amount would be I believe. My understanding is 80% over $50k, 85% under $50k until maybe $5k. Below 5k I’m not sure. Then factor in a percentage range based upon overall rating/risk overlay times your funding level. If you are below meets overall, the most you can probably get is half your funding level.
