We absolutely need to hire new, highly experienced auditors from outside. Internal Audit needs to be reviewed ASAP top to bottom to eliminate all who are incompetent, lazy, compromised, simply don’t care or are not ethical.

We all understand that we would not have this history of corruption with a competent audit function.

I cannot understand why audit is not shrinking proportionally to the firm. Someone needs to audit this paradox

The morale piece did stick out to me. Julie realized she can’t run an audit function like the military. Turnover must’ve gotten out of hand. I’ll be interested to see what she may put together

They aren’t laying anyone off (except the admins that were unfortunate let go a month ago). Everything else was the usual fluff, but that’s ok because we still have jobs.

At least they'll start thinking about improving morale next year.
