I was shocked by the transparency of bringing in friends to fill top roles. Talk about fair hiring practices.
Which location are the Hubs?
I’m not in Risk but didn’t we all get told this year that Rick/Compliance was a focus in order to take care of business (literally/figuratively) and keep the regulators happy? How does that work with layoffs in Risk?
The exact same reason she survived from 2018 to 2020
How much longer do we have to pretend MN will actually make it through 2021 in this role?
Agree with previous post! They are not being transparent.
MN doesn’t have answers for any of these as the answer for all of them are coming massive layoffs (in portions) for the ones who are still left at Risk.
(1) Status on spans & layers
(2) Status on Location Strategy
(3) Status of FRB Resubmission
(4) Insights on the target state org structure of each new LOB CRO.
Admittedly, I was either multitasking or bored senseless for most of it but what I DID NOT hear was yet another tone-deaf proclamation that “There is no hiring freeze!!!!” from MN. Guessing I missed it since we got yet another new guy announcement this morning.
Still plenty of tone-deaf comments. My favorite: That the hub strategy “impacts us all.” I can only imagine how much folks in NYC and Charlotte are stressing out vs. those luck bums in SF!
@qfx - plus, she never really says anything, so you're not violating any internal communication policies.

prediction... someone will ask about location strategy to which there will be no answer and someone will ask about spans and layers to which there will be no answer. additionally we will get a happy holidays and thanks for all your hard work.
