Selfish DM/GM

Anyone else’s DM/GM avoiding Covid closures because they are scared that they will be losing stores with the realignment 2021? Guilt trip when filling out RTO is unreal.

OP sounds like they’re from the Ventura district... unhealthy pressure to meet sales metrics and refusal to acknowledge we are going thru a pandemic.

Luckily we haven’t had this issue, and our DM doesn’t hesitate to send an employee home and/or close stores.

When this is all over, those of us left standing will never forget the ones that had our backs and the ones that didn’t. I hope it gets better for you, it sounds like you are in a bad spot.

Culture hasn't changed. You know for sure if a store closed a Director is calling the DM of that district "why didn't you do more? You know if you had more credit cards and home protect that the store wouldn't have closed" Then the DM call the GM and says "I told you that you needed to focus on Salesforce calls! if you would have had more calls out then customers would have come to the store to give you covid, were gonna document this" Then the GM repeats the same process down to the SM's

Plus what GM doesn't fear that they loose a coworker from covid. Lots of stress on them. Not only do they have their own issues and family to worry about they have the entire store. Honestly blessed to have amazing great leaders and now is the time to either step forward and be a leader or step out. Call out bad leadership. Praise the good ones.
