- Do you have the full 60 days to decide?
- What if you file a case within the 60 days?
- what if you go out on leave, before you sign?
- What is a list of agencies you can file against? (state and federal)
I work for another company but this place sounds quite dysfunctional and inept. It's almost like you have to beat them at their own game.. (for example: notify media before you sign, send email to Board of Directors, go out on medical, dig up any documentation and have it ready to submit, before you get the layoff mtg scheduled and file a case for investigation to stall until you get another job)
I hate to hear how companies, like this one, make employees feel they are backed into a corner. Layoffs are one thing but If you are getting terminated due to ranking, so they don't have to pay your severance due to poor performance, then make it difficult for the jack@$$e$ making these decisions.
Don't get mad.... get SMART.....There has to be something.... it might be creative and out-of box but I'm sure there is some loophole that someone is aware of.
