Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Work from home

Question for reps that are WFH and don't have ethernet capabilities and are using a router provided by Verizon. For those of you that still have a router, is Verizon allowing you to keep the router or what other options were given to you?

In case you were not aware the connection drops even with a hard connection. So that is an inaccurate statement. It seems we have way more system issues working from home than we did at the centers.
Has for the Verizon provided routers, it makes no sense why verizon would not allow reps who don't have adequate internet to keep the routers in lieu of the monthly stipend .

Routers provided by Verizon are expected to be returned as of this month. If you don't have a hard line connection you can't do WFH. Reason is that you need a solid connection to prevent the call from dropping and to stay connected to your profile. Even losing a connection for a brief moment may cause issues with account pops and things like that.
