Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

End of year will have layoffs

Budgets have been decided and the last major rounds of layoffs are in the planning before 12/31. This will probably be the last that will offer severance packages. Beware of new positions being offered, it may be your downfall. Good luck.

If you're offered severance, take it, the offer may not stand long so get out if you can.

In a new position you can be terminated after 90 days if performance is what is anticipated from the job description. Many employees are posting for different positions if they feel or know their job is being eliminated. Severance payout for long term employees is taking its toll so that will be pushed back if not eliminated.

Why last of severance? And why worry about position offer?
