Yeah dude! You can say impacted or wiped the f out. Look around. Not too many left now.
One account manager on my team just got the axe. Hearing some retail GM's getting the axe too.
Account managers are being impacted currently. Can confirm impact on indirect directors, dm, and account managers in Utah, Az, Nevada territory. Impacted are being contacted between 1130am est and 130pm est. impacted called first, retained afterwards. Also received word that GMs in the south are currently being cut. Hold on to your hats, it’s going down over the next 1 to 2 hours for indirect and retail

So far our DM has been axed and looks like director too and we’re merging. (Northeast area) might be more work for GMs and SMs to manage more than 1 store?
You know how it goes: 1st they axe the leadership and then it rolls downhill.
Anyone know if there are account manager impacts? I’ve heard director and DM impacts... but nothing account manager level

That doesn't make any sense.
So, here is what is happening tomorrow. Indirect will be merged with corporate locations. Dont have all the details, but this will be announced tomorrow.
Something is definitely happening. Managers are unavailable for hours at a time , 3 hour blocks. Seen this story before.
Impossible. Trolls on other posts regarding this topic said nothing will happen.
Tons of layoffs today, at the director level and down. They are keeping on the downlow but more is coming down hill very shortly. (I worked for VZW until today lol)
There are literally thousands of retail stores ( direct and indirect ) with thousands of employees but yet nobody knows what is exactly going on or being talked about ? Either it’s all BS or there are a lot of loyal employees out there sworn to silence.
Anyone else have managers on long conference calls today? Both retail and indirect. Looks like this is more than a rumor now.
Indirect would never be fired. If anything they will take our jobs. Management firms known as indirect are printing cash in return for our jobs.
