Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

B2B Changes

With everything going on around us and Verizon finding ways to “motivate” it’s employees. Will the B2B channel be impacted with headcount changes? or will the R2B reps be merged with B2B? I’ve talked to a few BAMs and from what they tell me, things are rough for them. No one wants to come to Verizon and some of them are losing big accounts to the T-Mobile. Thoughts on what’s safer right now? Retail GM or a BAM with the B2B channel? Thanks!

Interested as the rumors seem to be getting around a little more than before. What has been heard?

Half the team hitting quota is better than sprint and tmobile during normal times in b2b...

B2B currently and things are rough. If you look at the overall scorecard, half the team isn’t hitting quota and we are being managed to death by activity and metrics. Example, you can close a new deal and put you at 150pct of quota and the conversation would be - where is the one talk? How come no Bluejeans ? You don’t have any new logos, so basically you still s—! Oh btw! You didn’t invite everyone to your meeting with 1 customer.

Go work in B2B for T Mobile. Much safer. Your welcome.

GMs are safe if you are low on the pay scale and are willing to manage multiple stores.
