Your install office is getting away in 3/31/2021.We was told on Friday the install office will be no more in ut.
FYI-to coordinators out there. Why are you asking your managers if install sales is going away. They're going to give you a response "no". So you don't quit. they don't tell the store when they're in limiting our positions until the day before so they surprised the store manager.so if anybody gets promoted to install sales , then a day later they can eliminate the position. These aren't rumors I highly recommend call one of the Arizona stores and direct yourself to install sales, it transfer you to a call center. Corporate doesn't give the store heads up they do it surprisingly so employees don't quit on them so they can keep the office going. Because at the end of the day .ASM hate dealing with install sales complaints.
I am in Cali and I am still a installed sales coordinator and heard the rumors about Feb 17 but we are still here and no one has said a word. Did the date get pushed back or are they keeping installs? Every manager I speak to said we are not going anywhere.
If they are eliminating Installed Sales, I hope they don't follow the model of Porch.com which turned out to be a fiasco embarrassing everybody at Lowe's when they fell for outsourcing with Porch.
Another colossal Lowe's blunder.
We still have install office and our install mgr just put in his 2 weeks. They are hiring another one...why?? Heard Feb 17th no more. So why would they hire another one???
Everything happens in time.
1000% happening this year!!
So you're saying all installs offices are shutting down? I see that some have but the remaining are scheduled to close 2/17? And who is everyone hearing this from, I mean a reliable source?
More automation and shifting to third party services.
Where are you located?
Sorry. We were eliminated in 2016 in our region. It was only a matter of time, although I heard, at times, that it would be brought back, but apparently not. It was a nice run, and I felt store level Installed Sales was a better system, but hey, let’s eliminate payroll to appease those investors!
