IBM can not RA if you are in short term disability. Go to your family doctor and tell them to write you a note . I know a couple of people who did that.

Dumbest post ever!
Plus, this isn't even true. My old team had 2 people out on disability during RAs, it just meant that they were notified on the day they returned, they still got cut even though they were out for weeks on FMLA.
Also, this is not true for "employment at-will" states (most or all of them in the US?), unless you have a legal employment contract that states otherwise (IBMers don't). An employer can terminate your employment for any legal reason whatsoever. They can't legally terminate your employment BECAUSE OF your disability–even THIS is not airtight by a long shot: you'd be on the block again when FMLA expires, and employers are only legally required to make reasonable accomodations for disability. So, go away before you make some desperate people out there think that this is some kind of safety net (never mind the fraud aspect!).
I’m not going to commit fraud for a company that doesn’t want me. It’s not worth it.
