Lower level employees had a rough pandemic year both mentally and physically and rely on their STI to make ends meet. STI is termed a bonus, but it is part of your total direct compensation. While STI is a bonus to supplement exec's already bloated salaries, its is a necessity for many lower pay grade employees.
So what will executive leadership and the board do with STI this year? Will they give themselves another $6,000,0000, 200% STI bonus or will they do the right thing and trickle that money down to the lower pay grades in the company?
