Thread regarding Verizon Wireless layoffs

Genuine Disappointment

I actually really enjoyed my job for a long time. I enjoy the people I work with and what I do, however this last year has been garbage. Seems like there’s extremely low morale, the company acts blind to employee concerns, and promotions are at a standstill. What’s happening VZ? Sad to see.

Customers of all ages want the face to face (no mask no distance) interactions. Don’t see how express only will work.

When 30% of the retail store employees don’t even bother doing the survey it should say something. I know it’s because of fear of retaliation. Honestly can it any worse working in the stores ?

Well it being clear that Krista is an axe women and another country wanted to send hans to jail for what he did at ericson I'd guess you are on the right trail. However the board an shareholders are guilty in everything as well so keep that in mind.

Everyone has the same concerns like the OP has mentioned. Honest Solution?? Hans & Krista gotta go. Verizon can bounce back with a better work culture & it cannot be done with these Evil ones running it with blood on their hands.

@qeo+18FwyyF0: The onus is not on retail employees to correct Verizon’s error. I understand the point you were trying to make, but understand that no matter how brutally honest we are on the surveys, I think it’s bold to assume that Verizon would report them accurately. It’s more likely that this is already the case, don’t you think? Considering Verizon’s track record of blatant, feel-good propaganda.

The problem is retail employees need to stop being hypocrites. No doubt there is morale issues in the stores and most reps complain about the same things over and over. There is just one problem with all of this... reps don’t reflect this sentiment in the surveys that are rolled out. This message-board is a great indicator of how retail employees really feel about their jobs but when it comes time to do a survey it doesn’t show. Why is that ?

You want culture change? You want morale to become relevant again than Hans Gruber and Krista need to go!! verizon needs someone like the free agent John Legere to be at the helm
